Wow, this is a warning sign of things to come, for the superstitious, anyway. ( No. 1313 ) This was Bobby's Track Pass. In the end, we fell out of the race with a blown head gasket. "Wagner, 5, Mechanical"
Pit lane prior to the first practice session. The weekend was a wet one, drizzle and showers off/on the whole weekend. The track surface was terrible, with huge areas of pavement chewed up by a highway resurface machine. The thrashing the chassis took was amazing, there were times I could not read the tachometer because of the vibration.

We met the BFG Technical Crew this weekend. They gave us some tire temperature readings. The weekend was too cold to make any judgments.
Here we are, at speed, just pass the finish line.

Don is talking to me, helping me trying to figure out to what to do about the large areas (patches) of water out on the track. The BFG guys offer me a fishing pole, perhaps I can catch some of the fish that have migrated into these large water pools.
There is a lot of hunting in WV, so I heard. We are hunting for horsepower and handling.

Mosquitoes ??? Poison Ivy ??? Don't know what we were talking about here. Perhaps we are on our way to get something to eat?

This is the Dodge leaving the pits,
just past our assigned Pit Box.

Here is the Dodge on the straight-away just coming up to our Pit Box.
Eric shows up, just in time for a little fun and some dinner. He has already commandeered the tool box tow vehicle/gofer machine.;

The paddock area at Summit Point is real shady and rural. This was a real nice & quiet area. Weird that we found ourselves here, unless of course, this is the place where they put the new guys, to keep them away from everybody else.

This is our tow package

Boy, this was "State of the Art" for us. The van had plenty of power to tow, plus brakes to match. This is Bobby's vehicle. We couldn't afford the car, the car carrier AND a vehicle to get them to the track.
