I had to roll the camshaft / crankshaft assembly so the last two open valves could be closed. The valve spring keepers, retainers and springs could then be removed. The blue shop towels under the clothespins are filling the drain back channels. The shop towels are to catch the keepers when I drop them while taking the valve train apart. They worked great! :-)
